Native American Medicinal Plant - Wild Rose

7. wild rose

Before Europeans determined to explore, colonize, & claim the vast continents of North & South America, the Native American healers used this plant as a preventive and a cure for a mild common cold. The tea reportedly stimulates the bladder and kidneys and is a mild diuretic. A petal infusion was used for a sore throat.
